I noticed on my new Casio watch, theres a red line line, and I have no idea what it is. What is it?

My dad says it might be some sort of heartbeat thing, but I don't know..
Its not the ones that seperate the month and year and such.
Just delineates (separates) different parts of the display. Merely cosmetic.
