U.S. and Australian Businesses Team Up to Launch “Peace Movement”
This past June, at the nation’s largest annual jewelry and watch show in Las Vegas, Classique Watches, based in Sydney Australia, along with their U. S. distributor, Florida-based GDP Imports, unveiled a new line of watches two years in the making... Retailing at around $150, these watches were developed to help support the ongoing efforts of Peace One Day, the non-profit organization which has been working to secure an annual day of ceasefire and non-violence around the globe. Peace One Day, founded by award-winning documentary filmmaker, Jeremy Gilley, is the organization that led the process resulting in the unanimous adoption by UN member states of a resolution declaring every September 21st as Peace Day....
